With the sun on your face, you'll cruise through winding roads and visit the region's beautiful highlights such as Pont du gard and Avignon, as well as picturesque little villages like Baux de Provence and Isle sur la Sorgue. You'll also explore historic towns and their rich culture, and wander through the vineyards and olive groves of this unique region...

The routes
The historical town of Avignon is the ideal starting point for the different routes of your Vespa Trip. From here, three different routes, will take you along some beautiful highlights and hidden gems of the Provence region. With our GPS and all necessary information at hand, you'll be able to choose which route you take each day. You're free to decide the order of the routes. Time for a carefree holiday!

Your stay
Only a 10-minute drive on your vespa and you're back in the city center of Avignon, where you can wander the streets, dance on the Pont d'Avignon and enjoy the many bars and restaurants.
The Vespa Trip explained
What is included?
The price for this Vespa Trip starts from € 520 per person (early bird price) and includes:
- Four nights in our hotel, including daily breakfast
- The rent of your Vespa, helmets and lock*
- The care of the Vespa Trip guide
- The GPS
- An unforgettable experience!
The fuel for your vespa (around 20 € for the whole week), your lunch and dinner are not included .
*This price is calculated based on two people per Vespa. More information about driving alone can be found under 'your Vespa'.
Your Vespa
Throughout the trip, you'll have your own 50cc Vespa at your disposal. You'll receive it the morning after your arrival, and bring it back on the last evening. The Vespa is yours for the whole trip, even during the evenings.
If you want to receive your Vespa earlier, or want to keep it a bit longer, you can choose for the Early Pick-Up and/or Late Drop-Off. That way, the Vespa is yours from 2pm on your arrival day and/or you can return it at 2pm on your departure day (50 € per option).
Can I drive the Vespa solo?
The prices are calculated with the assumption that the Vespa is shared between 2 people. If you would like to drive solo, there is a supplement of €60 per single driver.

During your trip you will complete the route completely independently without guidance, but you can easily use your GPS to follow the entire route.start-to-vespa
Never driven a Vespa or scooter before? Then we strongly recommend you to take the Start-to-Vespa class. On your arrival day, the guide will give you all the information and an initiation to get the hang of Vespa driving and to be able to drive safely in Italian traffic. After this lesson you'll be ready to start your Vespa Trip. This class costs € 50 per person.
Driving licence
In order to drive our Vespas in France, you must have a driving license (B) or a scooter license (AM) and be 18+. The passenger sitting in the back does not need to be 18 nor have a driving license. Do you have a European driving license? That's perfect! Is your license not for Europe? Then you'll need to apply for an international driving license.
Food
Daily breakfast is included in the price. For a lovely lunch or dinner, we always recommend some of our favorite restaurants. In In Avignon and Villeneuf d'Avignon, next to the home base for your Vespa Trip, you will find many cozy restaurants and nice bars.
GPS
The pre-designed routes are uploaded on a GPS, which you can easily attach to the steering wheel of your Vespa. With this GPS (included) you'll pass through the most beautiful towns and arrive at the most stunning places.
Vespa Insurance
You are automatically insured for damage to third parties with your Vespa. For damage to your own Vespa you have two choices. Either you choose the omnium insurance (€ 69 per Vespa), where the own risk is € 0. If you don't want this insurance, a deposit of € 250 is required for which you are liable.
A month before departure you'll receive an email where you can choose one of these two options.
OTHER INSURANCES
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
This insurance gives you the opportunity to book without worries. You'll be able to cancel your booking until the day of departure and receive a full refund, provided that you can show a valid reason for doing so. You can read the conditions here.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
This travel insurance provides assistance in the event of an accident. Make sure you never travel uninsured!

Availabilities & pricesHow do I get there?
The fastest way to travel to southern France for your Provence trip is probably to fly to the airport of Marseille (MRS), and take the train to Avignon from there. You could also choose to enjoy the countryside a bit more by driving down by car or hopping on the train for the full journey.
BY CAR
If you come by car, you can easily park it for free in the spacious parking in front of the hotel. The hotel is located in Les Angles, FRANCE.
BY TRAIN
If you wish to travel to Provence by train, this is possible from all big cities in Europe. Whichever is your departure station your arrival station should be Avignon centre station. More info about the train can be found via this link
From the Airport
Your best option when arriving at Marseille airport, is to take an airport shuttle to Vitrolles train station and jump on a train in the direction of Avignon. BY TAXI
From Marseille airport to the hotel is about an hour and 15 minutes by taxi (91km). From Avignon station, it's 10 minutes (4.2km) to the hotel.

Who are the Vespa Trippers?
The average age of The Vespa Tripper in 2023 was 40 years, of which the majority were in their mid twenties. The youngest participent was 8 years old, and the oldest was 77. All Vespa Trippers, young or old, share the same love for the beautiful Italy and adventure. During the last edition, the participants mainly came from Belgium, Germany, France and The Netherlands.
Generally, people join this adventure in a group of two or four people: a mix of friends, colleagues, families and couples.

Do we drive solo or in group?
You get a road book at the beginning of the week with the stops and interesting facts listed. So if you want to ride solo, the GPS (included) will guide you on all the routes are loaded. This way you'll easily pass the most beautiful roads and most interesting stops.
Do you prefer to drive in group? Then you can talk to the other Vespa Trippers joining on the same dates and arrange to drive together!
