The Vespa Trip explained

What is included?

The price for this Vespa Trip starts from 490 € per person (early bird price) and includes:

  • Four nights in our hotel, including daily breakfast
  • The rent of your Vespa, helmets and lock*
  • The care of the Vespa Trip guide
  • The GPS
  • An unforgettable experience!

The fuel for your vespa (around 20 € for the whole week), your lunch and dinner are not included .

*This price is calculated based on two people per Vespa. More information about driving alone can be found under 'your Vespa'.

Your Vespa

Throughout the trip, you'll have your own 50cc Vespa at your disposal. You'll receive it the morning after your arrival, and bring it back on the last evening. The Vespa is yours for the whole trip, even during the evenings.

If you want to receive your Vespa earlier, or want to keep it a bit longer, you can choose for the Early Pick-Up and/or Late Drop-Off. That way, the Vespa is yours from 2pm on your arrival day and/or you can return it at 2pm on your departure day (50 € per option).

Can I drive the Vespa solo?

The prices are calculated with the assumption that the Vespa is shared between 2 people. If you would like to drive solo, there is a supplement of 50 € per single driver.

Tip: It is a bit more comfortable to have your own vespa each!
start-to-vespa

Never driven a Vespa or scooter before? Then we strongly recommend you to take the Start-to-Vespa class. On your arrival day, the guide will give you all the information and an initiation to get the hang of Vespa driving and to be able to drive safely in Italian traffic. After this lesson you'll be ready to start your Vespa Trip. This class costs € 50 per person.

Driving licence

In order to drive our Vespas in Italy, you must have a driving license (B) or a scooter license (AM) and be 18+. The passenger sitting in the back does not need to be 18 nor have a driving license. Do you have a European driving license? That's perfect! Is your license not for Europe? Then you'll need to apply for an international driving license.

Food

Daily breakfast is included in the price. For a lovely lunch or dinner, we always recommend some of our favorite restaurants. In In Avignon and Villeneuf d'Avignon, next to the home base for your Vespa Trip, you will find many cozy restaurants and nice bars.

GPS

The pre-designed routes are uploaded on a GPS, which you can easily attach to the steering wheel of your Vespa. With this GPS (included) you'll pass through the most beautiful towns and arrive at the most stunning places.

Vespa Insurance

You are automatically insured for damage to third parties with your Vespa. For damage to your own Vespa you have two choices. Either you choose the omnium insurance (€ 69 per Vespa), where the own risk is € 0. If you don't want this insurance, a deposit of € 250 is required for which you are liable.

A month before departure you'll receive an email where you can choose one of these two options.

FAQ

Give back to nature and offset your Vespa Trip's CO2-emissions

This planet gives us so much (natural) beauty to admire, but if we want to continue traveling to beautiful places in the future, we have to protect our planet today more than ever. That’s why we’ve added an option in our booking forms to offset the CO2-emissions of your trip in a trustworthy and certified way via Greentripper.

Your contribution will be used for Kariba, a certified climate project, to plant enough trees to sequestrate the equivalent of CO2-emissions of your transport. What’s more, with this contribution to the Kariba project, you’ll help protect the 785.000 hectares of majestic forest and wildlife in it, and support the local communities in Zimbabwe.
