Each day you’ll have the choice to ride on your own (with your road book & GPS) or to follow our guide and enjoy the group atmosphere! Click on the routes below for more information.

Your stay

Nestled in the rolling hills of Impruneta, just outside Florence, Villa Cesi Resort & Spa offers comfortable rooms, a refreshing pool, and a delicious breakfast each morning.

With its central location, it’s the perfect base to explore the Chianti region and the historic treasures of Florence.

The nearby town offers plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy the Summer evenings.

Itinerary

The order of the routes in Chianti is flexible. If you are riding solo, you can choose your itinerary. If you ride with the group, you decide with the rest of the group which itinerary you want to follow according to your experience and the weather.

The Vespa Trip Explained

WHAT IS INCLUDED

The price for The Vespa Trip Chianti starts from €590 per person and includes:

  • Four nights in an entrancing hotel, including daily breakfast
  • The rent of your amazing Vespa, helmets and lock*
  • Parking at the hotel
  • The care of the guides
  • Designed routes
  • Probably the best experience of a lifetime

The fuel for your vespa (around €30 – €40 for the whole week), your lunch and dinner are not included.

*This price is calculated on two people per Vespa. More information about driving alone can be found under ‘your Vespa’.

YOUR VESPA

Throughout your Vespa tour in Chianti, you’ll have your own 125cc Vespa at your disposal. You’ll receive it the morning after your arrival, and return it on the last evening. The Vespa is yours for the whole trip, even during the evenings.

If you want to receive your Vespa earlier, or want to keep it a bit longer, you can choose the Early Pick-Up and/or the Late Drop-Off. With those options, the Vespa is yours from 2pm on your arrival day and/or you can return it at 2pm on your departure day (€50 per option).

Can I drive the Vespa solo?
The prices are calculated with the assumption that the Vespa is shared between 2 people. If you would like to drive solo, there is a supplement of €130 per single driver (per person).

DRIVING LICENSE

In order to drive our Vespas in Tuscany, you must have a driving license (B) or a motorbike license (A) and be 18+. The license (AM) is not valid. The passenger sitting in the back does not need to be 18 nor have a driving license.

You have a European driving license? That’s perfect! Your license isn’t for Europe? Then you’ll need to apply for an international driving license.

GPS

The designed routes are uploaded on a GPS, which you can easily attach to the steering wheel of your Vespa. With this GPS (+ €30) you’ll come by the most beautiful roads and arrive at the most stunning stops.

FOOD

Every morning, you can enjoy an included breakfast. For lunch or dinner, we always recommend some of our favorite restaurants. In Impruneta, the home base for your Vespa Trip in Chianti, you will find many cozy restaurants and nice bars.

START-TO-VESPA

Never driven a Vespa or scooter before? Then we strongly recommend you to take the Start-to-Vespa class. On your arrival day, the guide will give you all the information and an initiation to get the hang of Vespa driving and to be able to drive safely in Italian traffic. This class costs €50 per person.

VESPA INSURANCE

You are automatically insured for damage to third parties with your Vespa. For damage to your own Vespa, you have two choices. Either you choose the omnium insurance (€89 per Vespa), where the own risk is €0. If you don’t want this insurance, a deposit of €500 is required, for which you are liable.

A month before departure, you’ll receive an email where you can select one of these two options.

OTHER INSURANCES

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

This insurance gives you the opportunity to book without worries. You’ll be able to cancel your trip to Chianti until the day of departure and receive a full refund, provided that you can show a valid reason for doing so. You can read the conditions here.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
